A Ferris Bueller Sequel? [TEASER]

UPDATE: It's just a lame super bowl ad.

Ummm, what?? Check out this extremely short teaser for what could be an upcoming Ferris Bueller's Day Off sequel.

It's hard to tell. The YouTube page says:

"We hate to be such a tease, but on a day like today, we just have to. Stick it out until the Super Bowl, or take a "day off" on Monday and catch the big reveal."

This is one of two things: 1) A hint that the movie is coming or 2) it's a red herring that will ultimately just hawk some stupid product or service from some stupid company that will be out of business in a year because they spent $1M on a Super Bowl Ad that featured Matthew Broderick.

We'll just have to wait and see.

Frankly, if it's the first of the two options, we're skeptical. A sequel to one of the greatest 1980s teen movies is completely unecessary and, since John Hughes is dead, entirely off-kilter.

Though a sketch group did entertain the idea, once. Click here to see their version of a sequel.
